Solving global challenges at ges 2019

In January last year, I decided that one of my goals to reach for in 2019 was 'to be a part of the global conversation'. So it was a great honour to be invited to take part in the GES 2019 conference at The Hague.

The Global Entrepreneurship Summit, or GES, is an international event which brings innovators and investors together to help solve global challenges. Thought leaders from various continents meet to make a change, driving entrepreneurship through business deals and developing policies which will make a real difference around the world.

The GES in 2019 focussed on five main Future NOW sectors:

  1. Agriculture/Food
  2. Connectivity
  3. Energy
  4. Health
  5. Water

Entrepreneurs had the opportunity to research and pitch business solutions in these sectors, addressing key areas such as access to finance, industries of the future, and women’s empowerment.

This unique space attracts divergent thinkers, disruptors and thought leaders who want to make a positive impact in the world and investors who are looking for opportunities which have the potential to revolutionise global markets. With previous years events raising over $1billion of new capital, the possibilities for impact are truly earth-shaking.

I have dedicated my life to making the world a better place for all.

Find the GES 2019 on social media if you are interested in tuning into the summit live streams as it happened, behind the scenes updates and daily recaps.
